Who has the most powerful endorsement of them all?

Tony Tan has prior links to SPH, being ex-Chairman. He is also former Chairman of PAP.

Tan Kin Lian is formerly from NTUC, and a former PAP Branch Secretary for Goh Chok Tong.

Tan Cheng Bock has his powerful grassroots machinery from Ayer Rajah, where he was PAP MP for over 20 years.

Where does this leave Tan Jee Say? Is there any influential figure who has endorsed him?

GET THE FACTS

Nicole Seah

This past weekend, Tan Jee Say went on a downtown walkabout. He was joined by none other than Nicole Seah, who contested for National Solidarity Party (NSP) in the GE 2011. Nicole’s team garned no less than 43.3% of the votes, against a heavyweight team of former PM Goh Chok Tong and PAP “next generation” leader Tan Chuan-Jin.

Nicole Seah has the most Facebook fans of any Singapore politician on Facebook. Her 105,227 fans exceed the 91,662 of Lee Kuan Yew.

Nicole has endorsed Tan Jee Say in the video below. In the new political environment, this may carry more weight than any mainstream paper, NTUC press release, or PAP grassroots support.
